Bhavani Kukadia Lyapun
Founder & Director of Programs & Services, Registered Massage Therapist
Bhavani has been in the health and wellness industry for over two decades. She is passionate about pregnancy and motherhood and wants to make sure all Mamas have the support they need. Bhavani understands the importance of having a community through motherhood and created Mommy Spa to be able to provide that for other Mamas and their growing families.
Bhavani's training includes not only Registered Massage Therapy but also Perinatal Massage Therapy, Cesarean Scar Therapy and Infant Massage Therapy. Bhavani has also done additional training as a Doula, Breastfeeding Educator and Infant Sleep Educator. She has also done extensive work in the area of Mindfulness.
Bhavani is also a mama to four amazing little girls who inspire her everyday!
Adriana Forde
Registered Massage Therapist, 5th Year Osteopathy Student
Adriana is a Registered Massage Therapist and also currently a 3rd year Osteopathy student. She has dedicated the last 10 years to educating and supporting others in movement and exercise.
Adriana holds an Honours degree from Brock University in Kinesiology, and several complementary certificates, including being recognized as an Exercise Physiologist / High Performance Specialist through CSEP (Canadian Society of Exercise Science), and Level 3 National coach with the NCCP (National Coaching Association of Canada).
Upon completion of her graduate studies in Exercise Science, Adriana was recruited by both the Ministry of Corrections and Niagara College where she worked leading healthy living lectures and ran occupational testing. Adriana then accepted an overseas sports contract to support a charity that devoted its resources to youth development in relation to physical literacy and the fundamental principles of Gymnastics training in the early years of development.
Adriana has a passion for sport development and is committed to improving the quality of life in others and continues to educate and work with healthy and unhealthy populations to optimize their everyday lifestyles through active living and manual therapy.
Harpreet Dhillon
Registered Massage Therapist
Harpreet has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2011. Being a mom of two herself, she is passionate about helping moms feel less stressed in their body and mind through Massage Therapy. Harpreet has taken additional training in perinatal massage therapy as well as infant massage.
Roshni Ravi
Registered Physiotherapist, Pelvic & Orthopedic Physiotherapy
Roshni graduated from the university of Toronto with a Masters of Physical Therapy, and McMaster University with a Bachelors of Kinesology. She has been working as a pelvic floor physiotherapist for almost 2 years now. Roshni is also the ex student chair and current treasurer of the pain science division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In her free time Roshni teaches piano and loves to take care of her plants. Roshni is always learning and currently taking a course on transgender pelvic health and concurrent treatments.
Paulina Maduro
Registered Social Worker
Paulina Maduro, is a Registered Social Worker with 12 years of experience supporting adults, children, and families with advocacy, navigating service systems, and accessing community resources.
She is a mama to a wonderful little girl, who inspired her to dedicate her profession to supporting other women through their individual journeys. She prides herself on being empathetic, determined and authentic. Her goal is that each person who meets with her feels heard, that their unique experiences are honoured, and that their strengths are recognized. Through her passion for mindfulness and applying holistic techniques into her practice she knows that each person will walk away positively impacted.
Paulina is committed to embracing culture, diversity and individual values as she tailors her therapeutic approach to ensure a unique person-centred experience. She works collaboratively with the person while incorporating elements of various therapeutic modalities as well as mindfulness in order to best support each person's growth.
Continuing her education and updating her certifications is of utmost importance to Paulina. Her primary education includes a Social Service Worker Diploma, a Bachelors in Social Work, and a Masters in Social Work. Additionally she in the process of completing training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), CBT for Perinatal Anxiety, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
Tamara Kaczala
Registered Holistic Nutritionsist
Tamara is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and has a passion for nutrition and wellness. Tamara believes in simple nutritional changes that have an impact and long-lasting results for years to come. Her aim is to ensure that clients can create manageable nutritional changes where they can feel satisfied, energized and nourished for themselves, as well as for their families.
Tamara is aware of the overwhelming information that exists on health and nutrition and her goal is to ensure that she can support you by creating a plan that is catered to you and one that suits your unique lifestyle needs. Tamara has an interest in women's health and has supported busy moms trying to navigate their nutritional goals, and has worked with clients during their fertility and pregnancy journeys, to ensure healthy nutritional choices during these life stages. Tamara hopes to share her knowledge and inspire you to enjoy food, take time to care for yourself, and to appreciate your body and everything it does for you.
Chanel Callaghan
Esthetician
Chanel has been an Esthetician for 3 years. She has gained experience working in Toronto spas and graduated from Humber College’s Esthetics program.
Chanel is passionate about facial treatments tailored for clients needs and is well versed in nail services.
Beyond that, Chanel is even more passionate about doing all that she can to help others feel like the best version of themselves.
Karen Piekarz-Mackisoc
Yoga Instructor, Sound Therapist, Front Desk
Karen is a Human Service Worker/Yogi/Child Mindfulness Educator who is an empathic and an intuitive person. Karen has graduated from a 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) program and is now a yoga teacher specializing in Kundalini, Hatha , Yin, Restorative, Children’s yoga and meditation.
Karen has studied at the Transformational Arts College and has taken the Discovering the Total Self Program and has completed her 100 hour Sound Therapy Training with the Institute of Traditional Medicine and is a certified Sound Facilitator. She also enjoys helping people and reaching their full potential, especially through teaching yoga and meditation. Karen also has
completed her Basic and Advanced Theta Healing Training and is a certified Theta Practitioner. She also encourages people to try yoga or sound healing
to begin to discover who they really are, challenge your mind to grow and stretch your thinking. Karen enjoys working with adults and children by teaching mindfulness and yoga and giving them the tools to build
confidence, compassion, openness, self esteem and increase their well being through; movement, meditation, sound, breathing and the willingness to
learn, you can tap into endless possibilities. A true yogi at heart!
